Work

Ten years of the same loop in growing containers: question, research, strategy, first working version, handoff.

2024 – present

Venture R&D — a major crypto & fintech group

Innovation team, working directly with the founders

Over 30 projects across every business line of the group. Market-entry and feasibility studies, M&A research, valuation and pitch work — and the projects I care most about: analyses turned into production software. Investment-committee documents generated from financial statements. Credit scoring. Transaction reconciliation. Invoice OCR. A market-making system, live in production, built to depend on nothing outside what it can see.

Most of this work is confidential; this is its shape. The method is public — I write about it.

2021 – 2022

CiZE — boutique management consulting

Business analyst & engagement manager

Data-driven strategy work: growth analysis for a fintech, market research for a leading classifieds platform weighing a vertical build-or-buy, organizational and cultural assessments with BI dashboards behind them — and a two-week startup bootcamp for a corporate VC. Also the first appearance of the signature: automating the firm’s own offerings.

2019 – 2020

Finnova — fintech innovation center

Business developer; launched and ran the coworking space

Wrote the founding proposal at 21 and became the person behind a national brand’s presence in the city. Scouted and selected startup teams, ran 8+ events with a thousand participants, built the talent pool, and learned early-stage investment from inside a corporate VC.

2018 – 2019

SG Pazh — financial services SME

R&D engineer, then business development

IoT products out of an R&D department: GNSS tracking for people who needed protecting, environmental monitoring for labs. First contact with the loop: technology in search of a business case, and the business case found by building.

Failed ventures

Kept here on purpose, with autopsy reports. A portfolio without failures is a portfolio without experiments.

Innovation Orchestrator

2021

An open-innovation platform bridging corporate innovation demand with startup solutions — API gateway, sandboxes, open challenges.

Reached:
MVP
Died of:
Business model depended on external players we didn’t control.
Left behind:
Microservices architecture; stakeholder management; that a platform is a promise you must be able to keep alone.

Gerdeham

2023

A community-management platform for organizing groups and their gatherings.

Reached:
MVP
Died of:
Paused by national internet blockage — infrastructure risk we couldn’t design around.
Left behind:
Product management; UX; that some failure factors are truly external — and should be named, not spun.
